Simulation Prompt

The simulation prompt tells Snowglobe what kinds of conversations to generate when creating synthetic interactions.
Different from the System Prompt field you configure when connecting your chatbot. See the guide: Connect Your Chatbot → System Prompt.

Purpose

  • Describes the scenarios, user personas, or intents you want to rehearse.
  • Highlights edge cases or product launches that need extra coverage.
  • Provides the narrative seed from which the simulator spins up realistic dialogs.

Supported Prompt Types

  • General: Capture everyday user journeys and FAQ-style questions. Example: “General users exploring core features and asking common questions.”
  • Specific Cohort: Focus on a particular persona, vertical, or account segment. Replace the bracket with your target cohort to drive tailored coverage. Example: “Simulation intent for [enterprise billing] user.”
  • Behavioral: Emulate attitudes or emotional states that stress-test the assistant. Example: “Impatient users who get frustrated with complex processes.”

Crafting an Effective Prompt

  • Be explicit about the customer situation or question you want to see.
  • Note the desired tone or sentiment (e.g., frustrated, curious, urgent) when relevant.
  • Include acceptance criteria: what a successful assistant response should accomplish.
